Rachael E Morton blends her talents as an artist, interior designer, musician, and former dancer into a sophisticated collection of fine art. She works in various media - oil, acrylic, watercolor, gold leaf, and photography - to create a broad spectrum of impressionist and abstract styles.
Originally from Colorado and the granddaughter of accomplished artists, Ms. Morton began painting, drawing and creating at an early age. She went on to receive a formal education and Bachelor of Science in Interior Design at accredited Colorado State University and worked as an interior designer with one of Colorado’s premier high-end residential design firms, Associates III Interior Design until 2009, when she left her design career to raise her children. In 2014, Ms. Morton relocated to New Jersey. Here she formed her interior design practice, Rachael E Morton Design LLC, and designed a restaurant for celebrity chef Leia Giaccone and other residential projects locally in New Jersey and overseas in Italy.
Ms. Morton has turned to her passion for painting and photography to help her cope with and recover from chronic illness triggered by a severe case of Coronavirus in 2020. Through her art practice, she finds strength and inspiration to embrace all imperfections, beauty and radiance of life.
